Dhamma Patākā, meaning ‘flag of Dhamma’, is the first Vipassana Centre to be established in Africa. Located in 7.5 hectares of land that is abundant with trees and water, the Centre rests amid a mountain range that has its impressive peak Audenberg as the rear view of the property. The site was originally a holiday resort known as ‘Rustig’ (meaning ‘peaceful’ in Afrikaans). Offering regular new and old students courses since being operational from February 2005, Dhamma Patākā is 130 km from Cape Town, Western Cape Province.

Dhamma Paṭṭhāna, meaning ‘Established in Dhamma’ is the sacred place where the Buddha gave the famous Maha Sutta, the discourse that contains the essence of Vipassana. Constructed on seven acres of green land 45 Km from the Delhi bus terminal (Kashmiri Gate), the Dhamma Centre is completely ready for meditation for old and serious meditators. As mentioned in the Maha Satipaṭṭhāna Sutta ‘in Kuru Pradesh’, these was a place (Nigam) called Kammasdamma. It is this very place, where the historic center has been located. The Buddha gave Satipatthana and many other important suttas in this region.

Dhamma Pitha (also known as the Amdavad Vipassana Meditation Centre) means the Centre of dhamma in Pali. The centre is located at Ranoda village, approximately 35 km from Amdavad and 3 km before the town of Dholka. There are two Meditation Halls: The larger new hall sits approximately 250 students while the smaller hall can sit roughly 30 students. Dhamma Porāṇo means Ancient Dhamma. It refers to the ancient dhamma path that the Lord Buddha had travelled. It is the seventh Thailand Vipassana center to offer courses in Vipassana Meditation as taught by S.N. Goenka in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin. The first ten-day course has commenced in October 2011. The center is situated on an area of 4.8 acres, on the road to the Kra-roam Falls, the district of Khao-kaew, Amphur Lanska, Nakorn Sri Dhammaraj province. It is surrounded by mountains in the Khao-Luang National Park. The area is dotted by rubber, long kong, and mangosteen plantations.

Dhamma Pubbaja, which means "Dhamma Ancestors," is Rajasthan's fourth Vipassana centre. It became operational near Churu in March 2011, with a meditation hall seating 80 meditators, AT residences, three residential blocks comprising 30 rooms, Goenkaji’s residence, a 32-cell pagoda complex and dining halls, on a ten-acre plot. The first 3-day course with 11 old meditators was successfully hosted from 14 to 17 March 2011 and the first ten-day course from 22 March to 2 April.

Dhamma Puneti means Re-experiencing the Dhamma. It is one of the nine Thailand Vipassana centers that offers courses in Vipassana Meditation as taught by S.N. Goenka in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin. The first ten-day course was held in June 2016. The center is situated on an area of 40 acres, at 161 Ban Na Somboon in Tambol Kok Sa-ard, Amphur Muang, UdonThani province. Rolling hills surround the center. The land itself is lush with forests, and is surrounded with rubber and sugar cane plantations. With its location being further away from immediate neighbors, and shades provided by surrounding forests, the center enjoys peace and tranquility, most conducive to practicing Vipassana Mediation. Its master plan is to construct buildings to cater for 120 mediators. The buildings include accommodation for ATs and students, office, kitchen, dining hall, and its infrastructure amenities.
