Vipassana Centers
Since 2002, Mid-Atlantic Vipassana Association has been organizing Vipassana Meditation courses in Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington DC, and various other locations in the Mid-Atlantic States. The first 10-day Vipassana course was held in Virginia in 2002 at Camp Virginia Jaycee near Blue Ridge, Virginia. In 2005 a 10-Day Vipassana course was organized at Camp Fairlee Manor in Chestertown, Maryland, near Washington DC.

Mount Abu is a popular hill station in the Aravalli Range in Sirohi district of Rajasthan state in Western India near the border with Gujarat. It is referred to as 'an oasis in the desert' as its heights are home to rivers, lakes, waterfalls and evergreen forests. The nearest railway station is Abu Road railway station which is 27 kms away.
10-day Gypsy courses are being organized at Mt. Abu since 2011. Generally, there is a course every month (except the winter months of November, December and January). These are single gender courses, either 'only male' or 'only female'.
Situated at the bank of a beautiful lake, just 1 km away from the Ruins of Nalanda, this Vipassana Center vibrates with Dhamma vibrations all around. It can accommodate around 50 students, and courses are offered in all major foreign languages. Nearest airports are Gaya and Patna.
10 Day residential Vipassana Meditation Courses are now being organized regularly by Nava Nalanda Mahavihara (Deemed to be University), as an initiative to integrate Pariyatti and Patipatti, leading to Pativedan. Courses are open for students, faculty, friends and family of students and faculty and anyone else interested in learning this great scientific meditation technique, discovered by Gotama, The Buddha 2500 years ago.
Courses are open both for males and females and the current facility can accommodate upto 50 participants. Courses are being offered in Hindi and English as main languages, however facility is also available for other foreign languages like burmese, vietnamese, mandarin, french, german, spanish etc. Old students are also welcome to meditate and serve at the center.

In the Northwest Area, 10-day courses have been given since 2005 in the monastery of Herbón (Padrón) and since 2008 in the college of Nuestra Señora de los Milagros in Baños de Molgas. Currently there are no provisions to organize courses in this area. In this area, for students who have completed the 10 days course, 1-Day self-courses are held Roxos (near Santiago) and 4 hours group sittings in Santiago on the last Sunday of the month.
