In 2002, at the age of 78, Mr. S. N. Goenka embarked on a remarkable Dhamma tour of the West. He traveled for 128 days through Europe and North America, giving many Dhamma talks, leading meditation sessions, giving media interviews and guiding students in private interviews along the way. In this trip, he was invited to participate in the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland along with global leaders in politics, business and media. In this meeting, Mr. Goenka spoke in various sessions on 'The future of religion', 'Death: Exploring the taboo', 'Anger and how to deal with it' and 'The meaning of true happiness'.
