Defence Against External Invasion
People from all streams of life walked the path of Dhamma, teachings of the Buddha and gained immensely in the mundane as well as the supra-mundane field. The Buddha gave appropriate discourses to kings, businessmen and householders. He expounded Nagaropama Sutta and seven principles to the people from Vajjan Republic for the protection of the kingdom. These principles are useful even in the present world.
This book contains details of these seven principles and Nagaropama Sutta. It also describes how Emperor Asoka who loved his subjects like his own children, made exemplary security arrangements within his empire for their protection using these principles.
This book is intended as a companion volume to the book ‘How to defend the Republic’ and is ideal for Vipassana meditators as well as non-meditators.
